The two Operations Centers of Istituto di Vigilanza La Patria offers a keyholding service for the security of retail establishments and offices in the area served, which includes 230 municipalities in Lombardy in addition to 123 municipalities in Emilia Romagna, in particular in the provinces of Bologna, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Parma, Piacenza, Milan, Varese, Monza Brianza and Novara.
The keyholding service is a complex, integrated procedure involving both the Security Guards and the 24/7 Operations Centres (based in Bologna and Busto Arsizio). The latter have complete control over the safe supplied to each patrol in the area, in which the keys to the premises covered by the security service are kept.
The objective of the keyholding service for store and office security
The purpose of the keyholding service is to ensure that the Security Guard in possession of the keys can intervene rapidly and promptly inside the respective offices or the retail businesses following notification from the Operations Centre, providing a real possibility of preventing a theft.

By means of the lock-up and keyholding services for stores and offices, the owner or manager of a business can rely on the support of a Security Guard who, after closing the premises at the end of the work period, takes possession of the bunch of keys that has been used, placing it into the patrol car’s safe. This service guarantees further protection for merchandise and employees.
