Infrared cameras are devices that can detect the heat emitted by an object or person within the monitored area, transforming the signal into a thermal image visible on a display. This type of technology, integrated with suitable alarm systems, enables the Operations Center to detect a break-in at any time of day and in all weather conditions, including fog or heavy smoke. One of the advantages offered by this type of detection, based on temperature variations, is that it detects not only break-ins but also fires or accidents that cause a temperature variation to the environment.
Even in adverse environmental conditions, when visibility is poor, the alarm systems detect any unauthorized access of people or unexpected situations, alerting the Operations Center, which in turn activates the patrol unit responsible for the area in question and, if necessary, the appropriate public emergency services, to deal with the problem.
