The access control system for private homes developed by Istituto di Vigilanza La Patria monitors the movement of residents and visitors within specific areas by means of radio frequency identification systems. These high-tech tools, with a read range of several metres, enable the recognition of devices and passes by means of electronic smart cards.
The data collected from the electronic smart cards, as part of access control systems, makes it possible to compile an accurate attendance record with detailed information, including traffic in specific rooms and areas.
The integration of access control systems with mechatronic devices can be used to authorize the opening of vehicle barriers or, in the case of non-recognition, the automatic blocking by access restriction systems. On the arrival of a car or any other vehicle in the area pertaining to the residential property, the presence of an enabled device in the compartment will permit the automatic opening of the access barrier, making identification operations faster and safer.
In the event of a break-in or violation of the predefined perimeter, La Patria’s notification and alarm systems, linked to the Operations Centres that are operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week immediately activate the functions arranged for monitoring, and, if enabled, the rapid response of area patrols. The patrols are located across the territory to guarantee timely and decisive intervention for the protection of individuals and homes.
This service covers a territory of 200 municipalities in Piedmont and Lombardy in addition to 120 municipalities in Emilia Romagna, above all in the provinces of Bologna, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Milan, Varese, Monza Brianza, Novara and Como.
To further prevent the risk of burglary and violation of the home’s perimeter, La Patria also offers armed anti-robbery protection.
The service is performed by Security Guards who maintain a constant presence by day and by night within any space, whether outside or indoors.
The purpose of the armed protection service is to prevent any intent to rob or assault individuals in their homes.
In addition to anti-robbery protection at the entrances of villas, condominium buildings or other types of private homes, the service also includes patrol activities in the area surrounding the building, dedicating particular attention to secondary access routes such as external fixtures and windows.
The coordination of armed patrols is perfomed by the Operations Centre, active 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, which, by means of system monitoring using surveillance cameras, ensures prompt and decisive intervention even in large areas.
