A wearable sensor detects the individual’s biometric data and sends an alert to the Operations Center in the event of fainting or sudden illness. The sensor is able to detect the person being in a horizontal position or not moving for a period of time deemed to be too long, and sends an emergency alert.
The Operations Center assesses the situation in real time and activates safety procedures, working in coordination with “118” emergency services and contacting a family member.
This protocol can also be activated manually, using a remote control. This is a service recommended for all those people who need to keep in touch, in a simple and direct way, with healthcare services or who have been advised to have their health status continuously monitored.
This specific service can be integrated with a video surveillance system covering the area under control, capable of transmitting in real time images of the user’s conditions both to the Operations Center and to a family member or department head, using a dedicated App. Thanks to these images, the Operations Center can provide a more detailed description of the emergency to the healthcare service.
